Automated Shorts is a locally operated tool that helps prepare and schedule finished short-form videos for a small group of independent YouTube channels.
How it worksA small workflow, with the creator in control.
The software runs on the creator’s own computer. It helps check which YouTube channel is connected, review existing video and schedule details, and upload creator-approved video files. Scheduled uploads are sent as private videos and receive a future publication time through the YouTube Data API.
It is not a public video platform, does not host videos, and does not offer accounts to outside users.

Connected through Google’s official APIs
When the creator authorizes access, the tool uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API to verify the selected channel, inspect relevant video status, and upload or schedule videos. Access is limited to YouTube upload and read permissions.
